Yatagan with a light brown horn grip and gold mounts, a curved single edged blade of mechanical watered steel. Wood scabbard with large gold chape and locket decorated with repousse and chased floral urns and motifs separated by small band of purple velvet and silver braid. Small silver-gilt tassel attached to loop on a scabbard locket.

Presented to George IV when Prince Regent by the Ambassador of Algiers on behalf of the Dey of Algiers, 20 May 1819.
