  • Indonesian kris, the ivory handle carved as a stylised Garuda bird, mounted on a gold selut decorated with rubies and emeralds. Two-edged straight blade of watered steel. The ivory sheath decorated at the wide upper part (wrongka) with applied gold stars and a ribbon set with a table-cut ruby and gold band.
    Provenance

    Displayed in the North Corridor at Windsor Castle (WC Nrth Corr 2522) and placed in the Grand Vestibule in Case Q in April 1936.
