Indonesian [?] kris with a carved ivory hilt in the form of a kingfisher (?), the top of the blade and ferrule gilt and set with diamonds; the double-edged steel blade watered in low relief. Wooden sheath encased in rose gold.

Presented by Sir Robert Townsend Farquhar via Colonel Austen, 23 June 1813. Recorded in Armoury at Carlton House with the note, 'A Handsome Malay Creese. the Blade of which is Poisoned.'
