A matchlock wall gun; fluted steel barrel with flared muzzle; walnut stock with a rectangular projection below the lock carved with strapwork, scrolled foliage and a winged bust.
Provenance
Purchased by George IV when Prince Regent from Mr Bullock, 1816.
Displayed in the Armoury at Carlton House; subsequently sent to Windsor Castle and displayed in the North Corridor there. -
