Small sword, steel hilt chiselled with neo-classical ornments, military trophies, wing-like decoration, flowers and husks. Barrel-shaped wooden grip bound with silver-gilt wire: Turks head ferrules. Straight, three-edged hollow ground blade with 1/8" shoulder, etched with military trophy.

Purchased by George IV when Prince of Wales, from the sword-cutler, Bland, of St. James' Street, before 1804 (CH Arms Cat.,no. 146). -
