A pair of double-barrelled pistols; the brown barrels inlaid with the Royal coat of arms in gold; the locks inlaid with trophies of arms; with silver mounts including lions' masks and a soldier fighting a Hussar; the walnut stock carved with chequering and mounted in silver with the Prince of Wales' feathers.
Provenance
Described in the Carlton House Arms Catalogue as 'well finished and handsome'. Purchased by George IV from Durs Egg in 1787.
