Engraving of Johann Kasimir, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau and Agnes of Hesse-Kassel, Princess of Anhalt-Dessau with their five children. A family group printed from two plates on two sheets.
On the left sheet, Johann Kasimir, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau with his two sons Johann Georg II, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau and Moritz, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau. Johann Kasimir is depicted standing with curled hair, moustache, beard, lace collar, doublet, and breeches, with his two sons the Prince Johann Georg II and Moritz to the right: Prince Johann Georg is standing holding a plumed hat and cane, and with the infant Moritz seated in a chair.
On the right sheet, Agnes of Hesse-Kassel, Princess of Anhalt-Dessau is depicted with her three daughters. The Princess of Anhalt-Dessau is depicted with curled hair, pearl necklace, lace collar, and embroidered gown, standing beside the figures of children. The Princess Dorothea is depicted standing between her two younger sisters; Juliana, Princess of Anhalt-Dessau to the left and the infant Luise of Anhalt-Dessau (later Duchess of Brieg-Legnica) is pictured seated in a chair.
The family group are presented within an interior, with coat of arms, columns and drapery behind. With cartouches below containing Latin inscriptions below.
