Engraving of William, Duke of Saxe-Weimar and Eleonore Dorothea of Anhalt-Dessau, Duchess of Saxe-Weimar. A frontispiece containing the portraits of the Duke and Duchess of Saxe-Weimar. Each bust length, William with curled hair, moustache, armour, and mantle and Eleonore Dorothea with pearl earrings and necklace and low gown. The portraits are supported by Prudence and a second allegorical figure with a sunflower, who both hold a wreath above the heads of the sitters. Below, a crowed coat of arms is surmounted on an architectural monument, with further allegorical figures on either side and with German inscription below.
