Engraving of William III the Bold, Duke of Luxemburg and Landgrave of Thuringia. Bust length with long hair, wreath of flowers, and fur robes. With German inscription on a scrolled banner below and the number '369' inscribed above. Cut down.
This print is from a series of 56 portraits of the rulers of Saxony, Meissen, and Thuringia dating from 70 BC to the late seventeenth century, all taken from Sigmund von Birken's Chur- und Fürstlicher Sächsischer Helden-Saal (1677).
