Etching of Charles I as king. Whole length with long hair, beard, lace collar, ermine robes, and Garter Collar with George, holding scales in left hand and sword in right. Standing beside the blindfolded figure of Justice, who holds a sceptre in her left hand and with her right, crowns the King with a wreath of laurels. With Latin inscription below. Cut down. Plate from Puget de la Serre's Histoire de l'Entree de la Reyne Mère dans la Grande Bretagne (1639). For a corresponding portrait of Henrietta Maria from the same volume, see RCIN 601987.
