A Chinese porcelain plate painted in late Ming export style with, in the centre, a star-shaped panel with a river landscape in blue with touches of enamel, with a pavilion, trees, a bridge and a distant pagoda, and round the rim, 16 radial panels filled with alternating peony, lotus and other floral motifs.
