A Meissen hard-paste porcelain tea and coffee service with Augsburg silver-gilt fittings to all the pieces except the tea bowls and saucers. They are decorated on a white ground with a continuous polychrome scene depicting chinoiserie figures. The scenes are surrounded by gilt cartouches that produce large areas of gold detail. The edges are finished with a delicate gilt dentil border.
