An Australian gold pot-pourri bowl with a domed, openwork cover, the finial cast as a crowned lion, holding an enamelled shield with the coat of arms of Australia; the four struts of the cover embossed and chased with scrolls and flowers; the cover engraved around its edge with a presentation inscription. The plain bowl is supported on a gadrooned foot.
