Description

Two oval silver-gilt knife trays with gadrooned rims, interspersed with scallop shells and bead motifs; each engraved on one side with the Royal coat of arms with crown and supporters, and on the other with the Royal crest with Garter and crown.

Purchased by George IV, probably in 1828.
