The York Minster goblet, commemorating five hundred years since its completion.
A modern parcel gilt silver commemorative goblet; the tapered planished body with gilt interior; on cast cylindrical foot with a scene of modern masons, architects, surveyors at work, in shallow relief. The base engraved with a presentation inscription.Provenance
Presented to HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1972, to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the consecration of York Minster.
