Sword or talwar with slightly incurved steel blade; blued steel guarded hilt, floral gold damascened flat circular pommel and narrow knuckle-guard. Wooden scabbard covered with green fabric.
Provenance
Presented to King Edward VII, when Prince of Wales, during his tour of India in 1875-76. Recorded in Arms and Armour at Sandringham House (1910) as from the Nizam of Hyderabad's dominions.
