A blue-and-white porcelain jar and cover. Broad-based potiche with sides spreading gently at the foot and glazed base; the low, domed cover with blue button knob. Painted with an all-over lotus scroll in two ranks, the blooms and leaves outlined in white, with petal borders at the foot and on the neck, the covers painted to match.
