Photograph of a panoramic view of Florence, composed of five separate photographs. The Arno river runs across the foreground. There is a bridge, likely the St. Trinity bridge (Ponte Santa Trinita), in the lower right foreground. A variety of buildings are shown in the middle ground and background, including Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, more commonly known as Florence Cathedral.
This panorama was originally located in the album 'Calotypes II' (RCIN 2905882), but was removed and separately mounted for display in the exhibition 'Crown and Camera' in 1987.Provenance
