QPN 204 and 1034 are prints of photographs made by an unknown photographer showing Queen Victoria planting a memorial oak tree for Prince Albert on 25 November 1862 in Windsor Great Park. Those to the left of the Queen: Baroness von Schenck (fl. 1864); Col. A. Liddell (1812-88); Queen Alexandra (1844-1925) when Princess of Wales; the Grand Duchess of Hesse (1843-78); the Duke of Albany (1853-84) when Prince Leopold; Prince Louis of Hesse (1837-92); the Duchess of Argyll (1848-1939) when Princess Louise and Count Gleichen (1883-91). Those to the right of the Queen: The Hon. A.N. Hood (fl. 1864); The Countess of Caledon (1825-88); Major General Francis H. Seymour (1813-90); Col. de Ros (1827-1907); Lieutenant General Charles Grey (1804-70); Mr William Menzies (1827-78) and Mr John Cole (d. 1869) (published in 'Queen Victoria: A Biography in Word and Picture', p. 169).

QPN 2836 is a print of a daguerreotype made by William Edward Kilburn at Windsor Castle on 21 January 1852. It shows Queen Victoria, Princess Helena, Princess Louise (seated on the chair) and Waldmann the dachshund (published in 'Queen Victoria: A Biography in Word and Picture', p. 98).
QPN 2837 is a print of a photograph made at Balmoral on 18 October 1858 by Thomas Pearce. It shows Queen Victoria seated on her pony, Malakoff. Prince Alfred (1844-1900) later Duke of Edinburgh stands in left side profile with his right hand on the pony, and Baroness Churchill (1826-1900) stands on the left facing three-quarters right.
