Princess Maria faces the camera. She looks down at the magazine, her head angled slightly to the left. She wears pearl stud earrings, two pearl necklaces, a pendant necklace and a long sleeve dress. The photograph is taken in what appears to be a study. Photographs adorn the wall and desk.
