Carte-de-visite depicting a three-quarters-length portrait of Abdul Aziz Khan, Sultan of Turkey, standing and facing the viewer. He wears a fez and rests his left hand on a table. Abdul Aziz reigned from 25 June 1861 to 30 May 1876. He was the first Ottoman Sultan to visit Western Europe, visiting Britain in 1867, when this portrait was taken.
