Photograph of the Casa de Pilatos in Seville, Spain. The photograph shows a courtyard bordered by a series of arches, decorated in the Mudéjar style. There is a decorated stone balustrade above the arches. A statue of a female figure is located in the corner of the courtyard, towards the centre of the photograph.
The Casa de Pilatos was constructed at the end of the 15th century and was significantly altered during the 16th century by Fadrique Enríquez (1390-1473). Enriquez introduced Renaissance features, including the marble fountain located in the centre of the courtyard.Provenance
