Lincluden Abbey is situated in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, and was founded principally as a Priory inhabited by nuns by Uchtred during the middle of the 12th century. During the late 14th century, it became a Collegiate Church and was eventually abandoned during the early 18th century.Provenance
