Photograph of the west front of St Vulfran church, or Cathedral d'Abbevile. The photograph focuses on the cathedral's twin towers and shows the rose window over the central portal. The left tower is in a state of disrepair, particularly the ventilation louvers. The upper section of the right tower appears to have been restored. The year '1850' is painted on the uppermost louvre. There is a row of houses in the foreground, on the right.s This photograph is part of an album of prints presented to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a memento of their state visit to France from 18-27 August 1855
