A lithograph from an album of portraits containing prints and photographs: studies of Queen Victoria's third son, Prince Arthur, in three different costumes. In the study to the left he is shown facing right with a flower in his hand. He is dressed in a hat and coat over a nineteenth-century child's dress. Inscribed below: Out walking. In the middle study he is shown dressed in the uniform of a Guardsmen, including bearskin hat. He is facing forward and holding one hand up to his forehead in a salute. Inscribed below: On Parade. In the study to the right he is facing left and dressed in a nineteenth-century child's dress. Inscribed below: At home. After a drawing by Queen Victoria, 980024.dl.
