The Prince is a keen amateur wildlife photographer. These photographs were taken while visiting the Galapagos Islands in 1964. Prince Philip described photographing the iguanas: ‘This must be one of my favourite photographs. Anyone who has ever tried to take photographs of birds or other animals knows how much depends on luck. This was the luckiest chance I ever had’.
