Photograph of a man seated in a rowing boat, moored at Glena Bay, Killarney. The man wears dark clothing and a dark colour hat. A forested area extends along the shore. Glena Mountain can be seen in the distant background.
A carbon copy is adhered on top of the original albumen print. Carbon prints are more stable compared to albumen prints, the latter prone to fading. Carbon copies were therefore created for posterity.
