Photograph of an overhead view of Grafton Street, Dublin. Buildings lines either side of the street, extending into the distant background. Pedestrians walk on the footpaths and numerous horse-drawn carriages are on the road.
A carbon copy is adhered on top of the original albumen print. Carbon prints are more stable compared to albumen prints, the latter prone to fading. Carbon copies were therefore created for posterity.Provenance
