Photograph of the side of a mountain in Glencoe within the Scottish Highlands. In the foreground, a low stone wall crosses the landscape, running towards the mountain that is partially shrouded in cloud. Larger boulders, slightly out of focus, appear in the immediate foreground.
This image was probably taken during the autumn of 1860 when Wilson travelled to Scotland to make a second series of stereoscopic views of Scotland.Provenance
From an album of photographs collected and arranged by Albert, Prince Consort between 1860 and 1861
