Photograph of the painting 'Diana and Her Nymphs Departing for the Hunt' by the workshop of Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640). Diana stands in the foreground, carrying a spear and gazing at the viewer. Three dogs stand around her feet and she pats one of the dogs, on the left. Behind her are three nymphs, a satyr and an unidentifiable individual. One of the nymphs is being attacked by a satyr.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of T. Baring. The painting is now held by The Cleveland Museum of Art.Provenance
