Woven woollen hanging depicting a tree, two huts, mountains, sky and sand with lettering LESOTHO on a blue background. This wool hanging depicts the mountains which give Lesotho its nickname, ‘The Mountain Kingdom’. The whole country is above 1,000 metres in altitude and includes the highest mountain in southern Africa, Thabana-Ntlenyana (3,482 metres).
