New edition in eight volumes. This set brought together editorial work by George Steevens and Edmond Malone, wiht a new history of the stage and biography of Shakespeare by Alexander Chalmers.
Prince Albert's crown and monogram stamped into the boards, along with a white spine label, indicate that these volumes were in Prince Albert's library.
