A manuscript copy of Admiral George Cockburn's diary recording his conversations with Napoleon Bonaparte. Admiral Cockburn commanded HMS Northumberland, which conveyed Napoleon to his exile in St Helena. He spent much time with Napoleon on the long voyage, and noted down their conversations.
