The frescoes in the Vatican Palace commissioned by Popes Julius II and Leo X

Raphael and his workshop’s frescoes in the Stanza della Segnatura are the subject of portfolios 24–27, divided into the individual walls and the ceiling. Portfolio 28 covers the Stanza dell’Eliodoro, and portfolio 29 the Stanza dell'Incendio and Sala dei Palafrenieri. The decoration of the Sala del Consiglio is the subject of portfolio 30. Raphael’s fresco decorations in the Logge of the Vatican fill portfolios 34–37, subdivided by vault and then aspects of the architectural decoration (such as the pilasters and the basamento paintings).
