On Saturday 7th June, the Colonel's Review takes place, and the following week on Saturday 14th June is The King's Birthday Parade. Both these events are a part of Trooping of the Colour.

These events form a part of 'The Season', a number of society events which take place during the spring and summer. The Season was at it's height during the Edwardian era, and consisted of lots of events which you will recognise today, including The Chelsea Flower Show, Wimbledon and Ascot.

On the days of the Colonel's Review and The King's Birthday Parade, we will be exploring this vibrant and glittering Season with fantastic, fun and interactive storytelling sessions in The King's Gallery.

The timings are set so that you can see all the excitement of the Colonel's Review or The King's Birthday Parade outside the Palace, before or after joining us in the Gallery to learn all about the ongoing history of The Season.

Our storytelling sessions are free with your ticket, and are suitable for families of all ages.

The ticket includes entrance to The King's Gallery. It does not include the Colonel's Review or The King's Birthday Parade. Please see the British Army website for further details on how to access and view these events.

The income from your ticket contributes directly to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity. The aims of The Royal Collection Trust are the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational activities.
