Join us for the third event in our Slow Looking series in collaboration with the Limina Collective. The practice of Slow Looking provides a unique opportunity for us to explore an artwork through the lens of mindfulness. Inspired by our current exhibition Style & Society: Dressing the Georgians at The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace, this event will focus on Hogarth's portrait of celebrated actor-manager of the time David Garrick and his wife, Eva-Maria Veigel. Limina Collective's Karly Allen will lead us through a relaxing and reflective hour of meditation and guided looking. Karly will also be joined by exhibition curator and Deputy Surveyor of The King's Pictures Anna Reynolds who will give us some more detailed insights about the history of the painting itself and the tumultuous friendship held between the painter and sitter.

Please note that this event has replaced the previously advertised Slow Looking event focussing on St James's Park and the Mall.
