The Royal Library holds Charles I’s annotated copy of the works, as well as treasures from Shakespeare’s own time, together with unique records of performances and works of art inspired by the plays. Join Librarian and Assistant Keeper of the Queen’s Archives Oliver Urquhart Irvine for an introduction to the Shakespeare exhibition at Windsor Castle, which illustrates the relationship between Shakespeare and the royal family over 400 years.  The lecture is followed by a private view of the exhibition and a complimentary glass of wine.
