Join us for a digital event brought to you live from The Queen’s Gallery, Edinburgh. Surrounded by our new exhibition Victoria and Albert: Our Lives in Watercolour, exhibition curator Carly Collier will introduce the ways in which these watercolours allow us to explore in extraordinary detail both personal and public aspects of the royal couple’s lives.

Originally in Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s own collection, these watercolours capture family events, precious time spent here at the Palace of Holyroodhouse and at Balmoral, their extensive travels throughout Britain and Ireland, close ties with France and Germany, and some of the most spectacular events of Victoria’s early reign. This in-conversation event will also explore Victoria and Albert’s significant shared love of art - and of course, their love of Scotland.
