Join photographer and art educator, Marysa Dowling for this hands-on, practical workshop as she takes participants through the creative process of producing a portrait photo on their phone.

Inspired by the photographs on display in our current exhibition, Royal Portraits:  A Century of Photography, Marysa will share ways to make portraits using location and backdrops. You will consider how to compose your portraits, think about pose, gesture, using available light. You’ll also have the opportunity to try some professional lighting.

Marysa's demonstration will be followed by an opportunity for guests to view the exhibition. Your ticket will also include a 1-Year Pass, allowing you to visit our current and future exhibitions at The King's Gallery, Buckingham Palace as many times as you like within the next year. See here for more information about the 1-Year Pass.
