Join us for our biggest family day ever to mark this most memorable occasion as The Queen becomes the longest-reigning British monarch. Celebrate this magnificent milestone with us at Windsor Castle, with a day of fantastic family events.

With exclusive access to the private gardens of the Constable and Governor of the Castle, we invite families to join us in the Moat Garden for storytelling with our popular storyteller Olivia, telling tales of The Queen's long reign over us, supported by live 1950's music. Come dressed as a queen, a guardsman or a knight, and take part in the children's Costume Parade to receive a memento from the day. Bring a picnic or buy a snack onsite to enjoy in this beautiful garden, enjoy facepainting and Art and Craft workshops, and meet a Military Knight of Windsor as we celebrate this unique occasion.

  • Storytelling sessions: 11:00, 14:00, 15:00, Moat Garden. Please bring a waterproof rug to sit on.
