Join Ashleigh Brown, Paper and Photographic Conservator as she delves behind the scenes and shares insights into her role as a conservator preparing for a photographic exhibition.

Drawing on her experiences preparing for our current exhibition, Royal Portraits: A Century of Photography at The King's Gallery, Buckingham Palace, Ashleigh will discuss some of the key challenges that a photographic exhibition involves, such as the exhibits' sensitivity to light and the challenge of how to mount some of the Collections' largest photographs in a way that best presents them to the public whilst keeping them safe. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to ask Ashleigh questions about her work and learn from her expertise.
