By train
The nearest stations are 'Windsor & Eton Central' or 'Windsor & Eton Riverside'. Visit National Rail Enquiries for times and fares.
By coach / bus
Green Line 702 service operates daily services from Greenline Coach Station which is near Victoria station, London.
Surbiton Coaches runs a shuttle bus service between Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace from spring to autumn.
Tour companies operate excursions to Windsor Castle from many London hotels. For details, please ask your hotel concierge.
Everyone is welcome to join our fun-filled, half-term activities at the Castle. All activities and workshops will take place in our learning centre, which can be found just inside the walls of the Castle.
Craft activities
Children can use Windsor Castle as inspiration to create an imaginative model castle tower or design a motivating banner ready for battle.
Workshops
On Saturdays, families can take part in exciting workshops and learn all about how to attack and defend a medieval fortress. These 30 minute sessions are led by one of our learning officers at the Castle.
