From formal records of State occasions and official portraits to little-known family photographs and intimate snap-shots, this exhibition from the Royal Photograph Collection traces The Queen’s public and family life over the past 80 years.

Among the many well-known photographers who have captured Her Majesty’s image are Marcus Adams, Lisa Sheridan, Dorothy Wilding, Cecil Beaton, Patrick Lichfield, Jane Bown and HRH The Duke of York. The selection of photographs is complemented by other material, including designs for The Queen’s image on postage stamps.
