    In August 1503, celebrations were held at the Palace of Holyroodhouse for the marriage of James IV and Margaret Tudor. This union was known as the marriage of the thistle and the rose. 520 years later, join us to discover more about this important historical event, including a poem written to celebrate the occasion by Scottish makar William Dunbar.
