BOOK NOW

Lots of our Christmas traditions are from the time of Queen Victoria or later, but how did the monarchs before Queen Victoria celebrate the festive season? Find out how the Georgians celebrated Christmas and explore the exhibition with our brilliant storyteller Lucy. Afterwards, be inspired by the beauty and sparkle of the exhibition and create your own beautiful Christmas decorations to take home in our drop in craft workshop.

The storytelling sessions run at 11:30, 13:30 and 14:30. The Christmas craft workshop runs between 11:00 - 15:00 in the Millar Learning Room. There is no need to pre-book. Our storytelling and craft sessions are particularly suitable for families over the age of four, but all are welcome!
