Drawings by Hans Holbein the Younger

An album of 80 portrait drawings by Hans Holbein was also part of Arundel's collection. This album had previously been in Charles I's collection but had been exchanged by him for a single painting by Raphael. The return of the drawings to royal ownership was recorded in 1675: ‘The Book has long been a Wanderer, but is now most happily fallen into the King's Collection’.
