Windsor community programme

Windsor Castle welcomes visits from charities and not-for-profit organisations who work with under-represented, disabled and disadvantaged people.  Visits are free of charge and take place on pre-arranged dates. The Castle is open throughout the year, from Thursday to Monday, with some closure dates for royal events.

The Crimson Drawing Room

The Crimson Drawing Room is one of the Semi-State Rooms, which was used by Queen Elizabeth II for private events. Open to visitors for part of the year, it boasts spectacular views across the Berkshire countryside. The room was returned to its former glory after being devastated by the fire of 1992.
