EVA BARRETT (1879-1950)

Queen Sophie, consort of Constantine I, King of the Hellenes (1870-1932)

c.1930-2

Like Barrett's portrait of Princess Astrid, this full length portrait of Queen Sophia has been altered with colour pencils to highlight the Queen's features. Her lips, cheeks and eyelashes are tinted with red and black pigment.
