Anthony Frederick Blunt (1907-83) 1968
RCIN 2945276

This 1965 photograph is of Sir Anthony Blunt (1907–83), then Surveyor of The Queen's Pictures. The photograph has an unsettling quality, largely owing to the darkness that surrounds Blunt's face. Nearly 15 years after the photograph was taken Blunt was revealed as a Soviet spy.
