BBC Radio 3: The Early Music Show

On 11 February BBC Radio 3's The Early Music Show, presented by Lucie Skeaping, will broadcast a special concert from the Grand Reception Room at Windsor Castle. The concert includes performances on historic instruments in the Royal Collection.
Flautist Ashley Solomon will play a Meissen transverse flute, possibly belonging to George III; Chi-chi Nwanoku will demonstrate the basse de violon bequeathed to Prince Albert by Domenico Dragonetti and later played by Queen Victoria’s private band; and Julian Perkins will play the two-manual harpsichord built by Burkat Shudi in 1740.
